Thanks to the lightweight and efficient Taxonomy Browser module it is now possible to use Drupal Digest to create your personalized Drupal news feeds. Just select the different topics from the browser to create the listing. Each listing has its own rss feed and each title links directly to the article on the original site. For example you can create a listing of all posts related to Drupalcon and then add the feed to your favorite aggregator.
Feel free to leave a comment with the feed you created and how you're implementing it (iGoogle, twitterfeed, ...)

Thanks, I updated the link to the correct d.o project.
Interface needs work … and it even makes Safari crash!
The interface is unusable to say the least… unless you're a Safari user in which case you get nicely highlighted in-page searching. That is, if you get Safari to load this page, because for me, it just starts to max out the CPU.
Why not provide a tag cloud of the X most frequent terms and allow access to all terms through an auto-complete widget?
a bug and a feature request
It's true that because of the huge amount of tags you will need to use your browser search. I checked this with Safari now and it crashed as well. I have no issues with IE or FF though. I'll see what I can do myself and report those issues in the taxonomy_browser queue.
Argh to late
I was basically writing module which did the same thing!
Wasn't all in bad, learned a lot about blocks.
